Our Story

Built to Drive Profit for Professional Services

We founded FastQlik in 2023 with a straightforward observation: professional services firms have two paths to better profitability — win more clients or run the firm better. Most software focuses on the first. We chose the second.

What started as a focused effort to eliminate the operational friction between project delivery and financial management has become a unified platform that replaces the disconnected tools firms outgrow — the spreadsheets, the manual reconciliation, the reports assembled from three different sources every month-end.

Our Mission

Give every professional services firm — from 50-person consultancies to 500-person engineering firms — the operational clarity that was previously only available to enterprises with seven-figure ERP budgets. One platform. One source of truth. Every decision grounded in reality.

Why Professional Services

We didn’t build a generic business tool and market it to services firms. We studied how consultancies, IT services companies, and engineering firms actually operate — and built specifically for that.

The ops-finance gap is the core problem

In professional services, project delivery and financial management are deeply interdependent — but almost every mid-market firm runs them in separate systems. That gap is where margin leaks, decisions slow down, and compliance risk hides.

Mid-market firms are underserved

Enterprise PSA platforms cost six figures and take months to deploy. Lightweight tools handle time tracking but fall apart at revenue recognition and real-time margin analysis. Firms with 50-500 people need depth without the overhead.

Every vertical has the same structural problem

Whether it's an IT services firm tracking utilization across projects, a consulting firm managing multi-phase engagements, or an engineering firm with complex resource allocation — the pain is the same: disconnected data, delayed visibility, manual reconciliation.

Adoption requires role-level design

A platform that only leadership uses is a dashboard, not a system. We built five role-based experiences — for consultants, PMs, finance, operations, and leadership — because org-wide adoption is the only way the data stays accurate.

Our Journey

From founding to market — purpose-built for professional services from day one.

2023

Founded

FastQlik incorporated with a singular focus: eliminate the operational gap between project delivery and financial management in professional services.

2024

Platform Development

Core platform built — unified data layer, role-based experiences, real-time financial reporting, and natural language querying. Designed from scratch for mid-market professional services.

2025

Market Entry

Serving firms across IT services, management consulting, and engineering — the verticals where disconnected tools cost the most and unified operations deliver the fastest payback.

What We Believe

The principles that shape every product decision.

One Platform, Not Twenty Integrations

Every connector is a point of failure. We built a single data layer where project delivery and financial management coexist — no reconciliation, no sync delays, no duct-taped workflows.

Real-Time by Default

Margins, utilization, and capacity update as work happens — not after someone assembles a spreadsheet. Decisions made on stale data are expensive decisions. We removed the lag.

Built for Adoption, Not Just Purchase

A platform only leadership uses is a dashboard, not a system. FastQlik gives every role — consultants, PMs, finance, operations — an interface built for their daily work. Data flows up because the tool flows down.

Outcomes over Features

We measure success in margin improvement and time recovered, not feature count. If a capability doesn't directly improve how a firm operates or how clearly leadership sees the business, it doesn't ship.

Let’s Talk
